FaceTite™
For years plastic surgeons and their patients have been searching for a less invasive alternative to a formal face and necklift. The problem has been that none of the current available technologies approach the results that one can achieve with a traditional lift. Until now, that is. FaceTite allows the surgeon to deliver radiofrequency energy beneath the skin to accomplish fat reduction and skin tightening…the two main components of any successful facelift. This provides contouring, or liposculpting, of the jawline and neck along with significant tightening of the skin that results from a cellular remodeling of the collagen fibers. The FaceTite device, which combines RadioFrequency Assisted Lipolysis(RFAL) and RadioFrequency Assisted Skin Tightening (RFAST), is FDA approved for minimally invasive facial rejuvenation. This innovative technology includes temperature and impedance cut-offs that impart a high degree of safety to its use while providing the necessary threshold temperatures for fat reduction and skin contraction.
The FaceTite procedure can be performed under light sedation or local anesthesia, takes approximately 45 minutes to an hour to perform, consists of 6 needle stick openings to access the fat and undersurface of the skin with no need for incisions or sutures. The recovery consists of mild bruising and moderate swelling for 5-7 days and is painless. Results begin to show at 4-6 weeks and continue to improve for 8-10 months following the procedure. FaceTite is often combined with Fractora™ Radiofrequency skin resurfacing to address both deep and superficial issues related to facial aging. It can also be utilized to improve the results of an open or traditional facelift by contouring fat with minimal trauma and improving skin collagen content and elasticity during and after surgery.
