Smokers’ Lines
Perioral wrinkles, commonly referred to as smokers’ lines, are among the most obvious and visible signs of facial aging. Smokers’ lines refer to the fine lines, deep lines, and wrinkles that form around the mouth. Perioral wrinkles form vertically above the upper lip and can be incredibly difficult to treat, especially with creams, lotions, and other anti-aging treatments designed to be used at home. Dermapen®
The Dermapen® stimulates new skin growth through a series of micro-needling treatments. Exilis®
The Exilis® is a non-surgical radio frequency device that utilizes temperature controlled energy. This temperature controlled energy is delivered to targeted areas of the body without becoming too hot. BELOTERO BALANCE® Dermal Filler is designed to smooth, fill, and soften the difficult to correct vertical wrinkles found above the lip. The hyaluronic acid comprised within BELOTERO BALANCE® Dermal Filler binds to water. This binding action fills in and plumps the treatment areas. Immediately following the injection of BELOTERO BALANCE® Dermal Filler, patients can expect to see results.
Combining Treatments for Excellent Correction
All of the treatments listed above offer the patient improvement in the appearance of his or her perioral wrinkles. While able to provide nice improvement in the appearance of perioral wrinkles when used independently, the above treatments work best when used in conjunction with one another.
